Our Founder / Managing Director

Brent founded BW Productions 2013 because he was passionate about telling stories that matter. For the last decade he has been sculpting stories through a lens and developing longstanding relationships with clients in the nonprofit, education, and business sectors. Brent is passionate about small business, serves on multiple community boards, and advocates for the film and video industry to be more inclusive while training the next generation of creative. When Brent isn't working he enjoys cooking, spending time with his wife and daughter, and traveling the world.

Molly enjoys taking naps, greeting our guests, and making sure everyone is staying on task. She is an avid fan of treats and does not enjoy long walks on the beach.

Operations Manager

After a decade in higher education and communication consulting, Megan joined BW Productions in 2023 as the Operations Manager. She’s driven by a passion for creating business process optimization and communication strategies that help empower teams to reach their highest potential. Megan holds a B.S. Communication from the University of Utah, an MBA and a M.S. Management and Leadership from the College of Business at Western Governors University. Off the clock, she spends time hiking and stand-up paddle boarding, and maxing out library loan limits.

Mariah is a producer known for her exceptional work with a diverse array of clients. With her unrivaled passion for storytelling and creative vision, Mariah has produced captivating content for clients such as DoTERRA, Utah Department of Health, Minky Couture, Dr. Squatch, and many more. Mariah's unparalleled dedication, attention to detail, and collaborative approach have made her a sought after producer, delivering results that resonate with audiences nationwide. Through her work, she continues to push the boundaries of visual storytelling and elevate the art of filmmaking.

Landon’s venture into the world of filmmaking was ignited by his love for snowboarding and enriched by his experiences while traveling. As a cinematographer he has a passion for crafting impactful visuals. His journey has taken him to destinations around the world, from capturing the glamour of Fashion Week to contributing to feature films, company promotions, commercials, and compelling documentaries.

Becca uses photography as a means to capture moments filled with emotions that transcend time. She does this by crafting imagery that speaks to the core of what makes us human through creative storytelling and visuals. When she is not out photographing you will find her out in the mountains with her husband and two kids - hiking or skiing (and probably photographing too).

Alise is a multi-talented professional with a background in photography. Her keen eye for detail and artistic vision has allowed her to excel in the world of visual storytelling. Currently, she works as an associate production coordinator. Her unique background grants her an intuitive understanding of the creative process, enabling her to anticipate her clients’ needs and deliver results that consistently exceed expectations.

Lacey is driven by empathy for others both as a storyteller and in daily life. Raised abroad for nine years of her life, she quickly grew to love the beautiful variety of friends she made from around the world. She enjoys life as a twin, pastries, and is a dog lover. She earned her Bachelor’s in Media Arts, emphasizing in documentary film at Brigham Young University, along with minors in Global Women’s Studies and Sociology.

Ashleigh, with a background in multimedia production, excels as a versatile producer, skilled video editor, and experienced photographer. Known for meticulous attention to detail and powerful visual storytelling, she has successfully crafted narratives for TV, documentaries, music videos, and corporate content. In her current position as a photo editor, Ashleigh provides impactful images for events, productions, and corporations.

Ben Johnson

Assistant Editor

Ben started creating content in 2015, and his interest in video editing and visual effects stemmed from graphic design. In 2020, through mentorship, he developed a professional level of editing and workflow. He was selected as part of the 2023 BW productions summer intern cohort and worked as an editing apprentice before accepting his full time role.

INTERNS

Noah Pelo
Business Development Intern

Noah, a North Carolina native and Film & Media Arts major at the University of Utah, isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. Whether it's exploring the outdoors, hitting the dance floor, or crafting the perfect story, Noah thrives in energetic environments. This go-getter attitude translates into his work, where he's known for being a fast learner, a hard worker, and a natural collaborator.

Kiernan Dunn
Producing Intern

Kiernan graduated from the University of Utah with a BA in Film and Media. She has been involved in storytelling from a young age and frequently engages with local independent projects. Kiernan has a great passion for making all the pieces of a story come to life. Along with interning, she is a personal assistant for a local director/ producer and is eager to expand her knowledge in the industry. Outside of work she is typically on a trail, training in jiu jitsu, or tending to her sourdough.

Angel Decker
Photography Intern

Angel comes to BW Productions while studying film and media arts and photography at the University of Utah. She loves all kinds of photography, but favors low light and concert photography. In her free time, you can find her watching movies, cooking and playing with her cat: Paula McCatney.

Riley Mortenson
Video Production Intern

Riley is passionate about filmmaking as a tool for connection and inspiration. She places heavy emphasis on crafting emotionally resonant works that leave viewers thinking long after the screen goes dark. She obtained a B.A. in Film & Media Arts from the University of Utah. When she isn’t on the clock, she enjoys bowling, watching movies at The Broadway with friends, and spending time with her two dogs.

Zac Doggett
Video Production Intern

Zac is currently a student at the University of Utah studying Film and Media Arts. He has lived his whole life watching, enjoying, and learning about the magic of themoving image arts. His journey at BW is helping him launch his way into a career in the industry he loves. In his off-time, Zac enjoys being outdoors and participating in adventure sports.

Sydney Harrison
Post Production Intern

Sydney is a passion-driven intern with a deep love of film language and a commitment to discovering and sharing the beauty of everyday stories. She first discovered her passion for filmmaking in middle school where she edited and curated fan videos for some of her favorite films. She has since graduated from the Media Arts program at BYU where her middle-school passion blossomed as she developed skills in post-production, documentary, and critical studies.
